Learning for life by Chris Betcher

Chris Betcher is inviting teachers to speak about communication technology on his podcast -the virtual staffroom. In this particular podcast he is speaking with Ann, k-12 teacher in Victoria. Ann is a tech support, and she spends time in the calssroom helping teachers using technology. She suppors  teachers with showing them how to set bloggs, wikies and powerpoints.

I believe Ann's position is very important and personally think every school should have technology support.   Many teachers need this great support and not only they will benefit, but the students will too.

  1. I agree with Tech Support being vital to having a 21st Century learning environment. While the school I work at does not even have a smart board, our LMC specialist is also our Tech Support person. She is an invaluable resource for both students and teachers in the school. She is currently helping the 5th grade class that I assist in the afternoon research their famous Americans for a Web based project that they are working on. Not only that, but she maintains a clean and attractive computer lab that the kids are ALWAYS excited to go to.
